Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has invited the BJP to form the government by virtue of it being the single largest party. The BJP has 105 MLAs in the 288 state Assembly.
The BJP will have to prove its majority by November 11.

Recalling that Nov 9 is the day when the Wall of Berlin was razed, PM Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the SC decision on Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit has come on the same lines and with the similar message.
He said that with the SC order, the decades-old dispute has been laid to rest and called for a “new beginning” and move towards building a “New India”.
He said it was time to bury the bitterness.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday welcomed the Supreme Court verdict in the Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case, saying the judgement ended the decades old dispute and appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony.
The Supreme Court on Saturday cleared the way for the construction of a Ram Temple at the disputed site at Ayodhya, and directed the Centre to allot a 5-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for building a mosque.
