As Abhinandan set to return to Chennai, #GoBackModi trends on Twitter     

Ahead of PM Modi’s scheduled arrival in Tamil Nadu on Friday, the hashtag #GoBackModi was trending on Twitter as many criticise him for blatantly politicisatising the surgical strike

They had been doing it for the last two times that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was visiting Tamil Nadu. They are at it this time too. Ahead of PM Modi’s scheduled arrival in Tamil Nadu on Friday, the hashtag #GoBackModi was trending on Twitter.

A majority of them are criticising the Prime Minister for his blatant politicisation of the surgical strike.

“When hero Wing Commander Abhinandan is captive in Pakistan, India’s Prime Campaigner is busy in election preparations”, wrote one user on Twitter.

On Wednesday, the MDMK general secretary said that his party will stage a black flag demonstration against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Kanyakumari on March 1.

They are demonstrating against PM Modi because of his failure to visit the areas affected by the Gaja cyclone in November last year and also are demonstrating against the Centre for forcing projects on Tamil Nadu, Vaiko said.

The Prime Minister is expected to visit Kanyakumari to launch various welfare projects and to address a rally.

Regarding the BJP Tamil Nadu unit president Tamilisai Soundarajan's remarks stating that agitations were a waste, he said that she had all the freedom to express her own views.
