Actress Kangana Ranaut, who has recently been in news more for her controversial statements than her acting prowess, has announced to turn producer with a film on Ram temple which will be called ‘Aparajitha Ayodhya’. Her sister Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to make the announcement

Kangana’s production house named after her film on the queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai ‘Manikarnika Films Private Limited will soon launch its debut production ‘Aparajitha Ayodhya’, Mumbai Mirror reported.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the shooting for the film will start early next year and will be based on the court case over Ram Janmbhoomi controversy. On November 9 the Supreme Court ordered 2.77 acres of the disputed land in Ayodhya be handed over to a trust formed by the government of India to build a temple.

Kangana is in talks with a studio and has finalised this subject for the production of her first film as a producer. The film will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who created the popular Bahubali series. The story will portray the journey of the protagonist from a non-believer to a believer, Kangana told Mumbai Mirror.

Kangana Ranaut is known far more for her controversial statements, a lawsuit against co-actor Hrithik Roshan than her acting talent. Beginning with the courageous choice of roles and offbeat subjects, Kangana has successfully chalked out a niche for herself in Bollywood. How she turns out to be a producer, only time will tell.
