Katrina may play Hema Malini in the remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’

The buzz is that Katrina who is already working in Rohit Shetty film ‘Sooryavanshi’ has been approached by Farah Khan to play the female lead in the remake of the 1982 film ‘Satte Pe Satta’.

Farah has directed Katrina Kaif in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and the two recently met on the sets of ‘Sooryavnshi’ for a song which was choreographed by Farah Khan.

Earlier there were reports about Deepika Padukone being approached by Farah Khan for the same role. The actress apparently has given nod to a Luv Ranjan film that co-stars her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

Guess we will get to see ‘Bang Bang’ stars come together for Farah film.

Meanwhile there is still no clarity on the rights of the film.

The original ‘Satte Pe Satta’ was directed by Raj Sippy with Amitabh Bachchan in a double role and Hema Malini playing the female lead.
