Congress is all set to intensity it's stand against BJP on CAA-NRC with its high-level "informal" committee.

The committee will not only draw up programmes for demonstration but also plan special agitational strategy against the CAA,NRC and economic issues.

The committe, named “Quick Response Committee”, comprises Ahmed Patel, K C Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shaktisinh Gohil, Rajeev Satav, Deepender Hooda, Jitin Prasada and Randeep Surjewala.

The panel is expected to build on the agitation against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, as decided by the joint opposition meeting and Congress Working Committee.


Congress is ready to turn up the heat against Modi government in the Republic Day week by using “celebrations” as the tool.

The important days in the “nationalism calendar” – Netaji Bose’s birth anniversary on January 23, Republic Day on January 26 and Mahatma Gandhi’s martyrdom day on January 30 will be celebrated in a special manner.

In these days party will organise “reading of the preamble of the Constitution” and programmes on communal amity across the country.

The panel has decided how the local units can be nudged to organise activities to give sense of a widespread nationwide agitation.

Congress' "Quick Response Committee" is working to see huge turnout in agitations against the unconstitutional laws of BJP.
