6 dead, 15 hospitalised in UP’s Prayagraj after consuming spurious liquor

6 people have died and 15 have been hospitalised in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, allegedly after consuming toxic liquor, reported NDTV.

Incident took place on Friday in Amilia village.

Locals say the victims consumed country liquor from a shop on Friday night. Soon after, several people fell ill. The husband-wife duo who ran the liquor shop have been arrested based on initial evidence.
