BJP-JJP alliance ‘holy’ but Congress-NCP-Shiv Sena alliance ‘unholy’?

Following the Shiv Sena staking its claim to form the government in Maharashtra with the support of NCP and Congress –BJP supporters and several TV anchors took to Twitter to criticise the move as a betrayal of people’s mandate.

But others were equally quick to respond by pointing out that if BJP taking the help of Dushyant Chautala and JJP, which fought the election against the BJP in Haryana, was not betrayal of the mandate, the Shiv Sena taking the help of Congress couldn’t be described as betrayal either.

Others referred to BJP’s alliance with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir and the party engineering defections in several other states like Goa, Sikkim and Karnataka.

• BJP formed government using its money & muscle power in: Goa Bihar Karnataka Sikkim Nagaland Haryana Arunachal Pradesh BJP thought everyone would bow to their ED and CBI threats.

• If the Shiv Sena breaking away from the NDA is not respecting people's mandate, then how is JJP allying with the BJP respecting the people's mandate? Ideology is no bar in Indian politics today, so that argument is invalid.

• Before claiming mandate in Maharashtra, BJP should realise it fought elections with 145 MLAs. (123 own + 22 defectors) Only 105 won.

• Form govt. in states after falling short of majority.. break parties... get Oppn MLAs to defect before elections.. get top Oppn leader of country arrested keep him in jail for 2 months ... and when Oppn forms a govt. in a big state, cry wolf...aapka khoon khoon... hamara khoon?

• In last 53 years ShivSena had alliances with various parties. Here are some of them: Praja Socialist Party, Congress, Cong(S),Janata Party, Muslim League, BJP, RPI, Dalit Panthers, Sharad Joshi’s party..

• BJP disrespected the people's mandate in Goa. They formed a govt through the backdoor in Bihar. They subverted the Constitution to pull down the @INCIndia-JDS govt in Karnataka. In #Maharashtra, BJP & @AmitShah have been beaten at their own game!

• Journalist like Arnab,Navika & Co. who were praising Amit shah for Horse Trading all these time. Are now Accusing Shiv Sena & NCP of Cheating People's Mandate. Indian Journalism explained.

• Even the official handle of Bihar’s RJD put out a tweet:
