Libya receives 1st COVID vax shipment
Libya has received its first shipment of vaccines against COVID-19, with 101,250 doses from Russia, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.
The Sputnik doses arrived in the capital Tripoli and will be stored in the Health Ministry's warehouses, according to official news agency LNA.
No date has been given for when vaccinations will begin, dpa news agency quoted the LNA as saying.
23 dead in Indonesia flash floods
At least 23 people were killed, while two others reportedly missing in flash floods and landslides that hit villages in Adonara Island in eastern Indonesia, an official said.
Raditya Jati, a spokesman for the national disaster mitigation agency, said heavy rainfall since Saturday caused the flooding that hit East Flores district of East Nusa Tenggara province at 1 a.m. on Sunday, dpa news agency reported.
Govinda tests positive for COVID-19
Actor Govinda has tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is under home quarantine, his wife Sunita Ahuja said on Sunday.
The 57-year-old actor has "mild symptoms" and is following necessary protocol.
"He (Govinda) tested positive today morning. His symptoms are absolutely mild. There's nothing to worry about. He is quarantining at home and taking precautions," Sunita told PTI.

Delhi records minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius
The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average, on Sunday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 36 degrees Celsius, MeT officials said.
The relative humidity was recorded at 49 per cent.

3 held for abducting, gang raping UP woman
The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested three men in connection with the alleged gang rape of a 25-year-old woman.
The three have been accused of gang raping the woman on March 22 after abducting her from her house.
The incident occurred in a village under the Mirzapur police station limits, the police said.
On March 22, the woman was allegedly abducted by the accused from the roof of her house after which they took turns to rape her.

13 injured in thermal power plant blast in UP
Thirteen labourers were injured following an explosion in a boiler in the Lanco Anpara thermal power plant on Sunday morning.
Five of the injured labourers were in a serious condition and have been shifted to Varanasi for advanced treatment.
Relief and rescue operations have begun to evacuate other labourers who are feared trapped in.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed district officials to provide all possible assistance to the injured persons.
He has also directed the concerned officials to investigate the incident and fix responsibility for the lapses that led to the accident.
