Traffic affected in Khureji Khas due to anti-CAA protest
Traffic movement was affected in northeast Delhi's Khureji Khas area on Monday after a large group, comprising mostly women, gathered there to protest against the CAA, police said.
They said the protesters, approximately less than 100 in number, assembled on a stretch leading to the main road of Khureji Khas for a sit-in demanding roll back of the amended anti-citizenship law.
"The protesters have gathered on one side of the stretch which leads to the main road. There is traffic movement but it is very slow," a senior police official said.

Anti-CAA protest: Entry, exit gates of Jaffrabad metro station closed
The entry and exit gates of Jaffrabad metro station were closed on Sunday after an overnight protest by around 500 people, mostly women, against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the National Register of Citizens.
The women, carrying the tricolour and raising slogans of 'aazadi', said they would not move from the site till the Centre revoke the CAA.
They had blocked road no. 66 which connects Seelampur with Maujpur and Yamuna Vihar.
"Entry & exit of Jaffrabad have been closed. Trains will not be halting at this station," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation tweeted.

Two deaths from the new coronavirus sparked fears throughout northern Italy, as about 50,000 people were poised for a weeks-long lockdown imposed by authorities trying to halt a further increase in infections.
Italy on Friday became the first country in Europe to report the death of one of its own nationals from the virus, triggering travel restrictions on about a dozen towns where the number of people contaminated has continued to rise.
Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said that people living inside the affected areas in the northern regions would be restricted to those areas, while schools and businesses closed, as part of measures designed to stem new infections.
"In zones considered hotspots, neither entry or exit will be authorised without special permission," Conte said during a press conference.
