“Today you are here as students, maybe tomorrow you'll be part of the administration in Uttar Pradesh. We live in a democratic society where communication is vital. Prosperity comes to our lives only when we develop,” said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while interacting with Kashmiri students on Saturday.

A group of about 125 students from Kashmir, currently in Uttar Pradesh for their studies met UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Saturday, where he talked about the significance of communication.

“Our states might be different, our cultures might be different but at the end of the day you all are our children," said Yogi.

The Kashmir Valley has been put under unprecedented communication blockade since August 5 when Home Minister Amit Shah moved two Bills to abrogate Article 370 and bifurcate the State of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories. This has had a serious impact on students studying both in the Valley and outside it.
