Amid a massive surge in Covid cases, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the continuing crisis. He alleged that it's a Modi-made disaster.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took to his official Twitter handle to launch an attack on Central Government for failing to control COVID-19 wave. He tweeted: "Shamshan aur Kabristan dono -- Jo kaha so ho kiya (both funeral and burial grounds, fulfilled what was promised) #ModiMadeDisaster".

Rahul Gandhi has stepped up the attack on the government since Thursday after some hospitals reported a shortage of beds and ventilators. In another tweet he wrote: "There is no test, no bed in the hospital, no ventilators, no oxygen, no vaccine, bus utsav ka dhong hai (a festive pretence)... PM cares?"

Earlier on April 14, Surjewala targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the raging Covid-19 situation in the country and said the central government has been completely careless and cruel when it comes to ensuring life-saving drugs, providing oxygen and vaccines to Indians. "
