Two policemen in Chhattisgarh have been suspended after they were caught demanding and taking bribe on camera. According to the reports, they were seen taking money from a transporter, whose vehicle was involved in a road accident.

The video of the incident was shared on social media, and after this, the two policemen have been suspended.

The officers in the video have been identified as Station House Officer (SHO) of Tumgaon Police Station Sharad Tamrakar and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Vijendra Chandaniha.

In the video, the policemen are seen demanding and counting money taken from the transporter, Superintendent of Police Prafull Kumar Thakur said, adding the video is from June 15 and the department has initiated enquiry against the officers.
