There is a chaos in the country as corona crisis has mounted to a record high, instead of preparing a strategy to overcome the pandemic, the government seems to have surrendered to the situation, All restrictions are being lifted in the name of phased unlock, Rahul Gandhi has questioned the government of the mismanaged approach and injustice by keeping UP congress president in jail.

As nation steps into unlock-01, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses people through his monthly radio programme ''Mann Ki Baat''.

1. PM ADDRESSES THE NATION IN "MANN KI BAAT"

PM Modi has once again put the states and people under the responsibility as he  elaborated on the government's latest guidelines on the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the virus.

On Saturday, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued new guidelines, extending the nationwide lockdown till June 30 with a phased plan to unlock India.

3.EXTENDED LOCKDOWN TILL JUNE 30 HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED AS UNLOCK 01

Congress has accused the government of unplanned lockdown and now when the cases have spiked above 1 lakh 70 thousand, all restrictions are being lifted

4. CONGRESS SAID FIRST IT WAS UNPLANNED LOCKDOWN NOW UNPLANNED UNLOCK

Strict orders enforced on March 25, when the country went into a total lockdown to break the chain of transmission of the virus, these orders will be limited to containment zones now-at least till June 30.


5. CONFUSION PREVAILS ABOUT THE NEW GUIDELINES AMID SPIKING CASES

PM said, Last time when I spoke, passenger, air travel were shut. Now all due restrictions have been lifted.

We need to follow all COVID-19 protocols more sincerely from now.

6. PM GAVE CONTRADICTORY STATEMENT OF LIFTING RESTRICTIONS AND SERIOUS PROTOCOLS

Despite high number of covid cases, PM did nor forget to laud himself as he said," We face lot of challenges, yet we have been able to keep corona in check compared to other countries with lesser populations"

7. PM LAUDED HIS GOVERNMENT FOR KEEPING CORONA IN CHECK

The guidelines issued by MHA have majorly put the decision on states' will which means that if the cases surge after unlock 1, states will be responsible

8. THE FINAL DECISION ON LIFTING RESTRICTIONS HAS BEEN LEFT TO STATES

The victory over Corona will depend on innovations. A vaccine for the virus has not yet been developed. Poor, shramik workers have suffered the most.Our friends in railways, centre, states are working day and night.

9.AFTER HUNDREDS OF DEATHS, PM SAID WE ARE WORKING DAY& NIGHT FOR WORKERS

PM also said, the recent steps taken by centre will ensure a aatma nirbhar Bharat

Everyone is now working on their resolve towards "Make in India"

10. DESPITE THE DECELERATING ECONOMY, PM HAILED HIS FAILED POLICIES

While PM skipped the real issues of the Covid crisis , Congress has attacked the government for the inhuman treatment of migrants and mismanagement of the crisis

11.CONGRESS SLAMS GOVERNMENT FOR INHUMAN TREATMENT OF THE MIGRANTS

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has raised the issue of arrest of the UP congress president Ajay lallu.

12.RAHUL GANDHI RAISED THE ISSUE OF AJAY LALLU'S UNDUE ARREST

Stating that the UP government was unnecessarily keeping Lallu in jail, Rahul said that the turn of events exposes Yogi government’s anti-poor mindset.

“I have seen the struggle of UPCC President Shri Ajay Kumar Lallu Ji closely. He was active day and night in helping the needy at the time of disaster. The UP government is doing injustice to him keeping him in jail. The government action exposes the anti-poor mentality of the government,” Rahul tweeted.

13.RAHUL GANDHI SLAMMED THE BJP FOR INJUSTICE

Lallu was arrested on May 20 on allegations that he provided false documents regarding buses for ferrying migrant workers back to Uttar Pradesh during the coronavirus-triggered lockdown.

14.RAHUL HAS URGED THE CONGRESS TO KEEP THE FIGHT ON

Congress has said that the government has failed on all parameters in last 6 years and PM goes on to make false promises
