Deepika Padukone is India’s most trustworthy female celebrity

Celebrities always make an impact on the audience whether through their acting/game/performance or through their brand endorsements. That is why numerous brands rely heavily on these celebrities for their advertisements.

Recently a report was released that revealed the celebrity ranking based on their mass appeal and trustworthiness when they endorse a brand. Deepika Padukone has been ranked as the most trusted female celebrity with an 82.8.

According to the TIARA research report on celebrities released by IIHB - Deepika has also been voted as India's Most beautiful and India's most glamorous. This report works around the idea of celebrities as Human brands. Other celebrities making it the list were - Amitabh Bachchan as the most trusted celebrity, Akshay Kumar as most trusted male celebrity. MS Dhoni, Mithali Raj, are the sports celebrities voted as the most trustworthy while Virat Kohli and Anuskha Sharma are the most trusted celebrity couple.

This report takes into consideration celebrities from all sectors, but most categories were dominated by Bollywood celebs. Deepika Padukone emerged as the winner for most number of categories. This survey is based on a study carried out by IIHB with a sample size of 60,000 respondents Pan-India from 23 cities.
