Anup Jalota dating Jasleen: A lie scripted by Bigg Boss 12?
A source close to Anup Jalota revealed to a lifestyle website that the singer himself confirmed he was joining Bigg Boss 12 as a couple with Jasleen because that’s what the script demanded
As the new season of Bigg Boss drew nearer, the news of 65-years-old gazal/bhajan singer Anup Jalota dating a 28-years-old Jasleen Matharu created quite a stir on social media. And then his entry in Bigg Boss 12 with her girl friend further sparked the imagination of netizens.
Jalota had earlier denied these speculations, but Jasleen Matharu spoke about it openly in an interview to the Times of India. The 28-year-old spoke about how they don't get to spend much time together given their busy schedules but thanks to Bigg Boss 12, they will now be closer than ever. While speaking to Bigg Boss 12 host Salman Khan on the premiere night, Jasleen again confirmed her relationship with Anup Jalota.
Jasleen's parents and friends were reportedly not aware of her dating the gazal singer and speaking to the TV channel Aaj Tak, Jasleen’s father Kesar Matharu expressed his shock and unhappiness over the news.
Amid all these rumours and social media humour about the vichitra jodi (unique couple), which is the theme of this season of the reality show, Big Boss12 smoothly reached the top TRP winning TV shows.
However, according to some news reports the entire relationship of Anup and Jasleen has been scripted by the makers of Bigg Boss.
MensXP, a lifestyle website quotes a source reportedly close to Anup Jalota as saying, "I spoke to Anup Jalota a week ago, and he confirmed to me that he is going inside the house. He mentioned that he was going inside as a couple with Jasleen and the whole casting was done by Bigg Boss.”
"There is nothing between them. The two only got together because that's what the script demanded. In fact, he also told how things will keep getting interesting. They have to show their love equation inside the house. Things will be intimate and there are chances that we will also see Jasleen getting attracted towards another inmates and things steaming up between the two," This source reportedly told the website MensXP.
This year, Bigg Boss will be featuring some well-known personalities and also some commoners who will fight it out to win the main prize. Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Srishty Rode, Neha Pendse and S Sreesanth are some of the contestants of this season.
