Ashnoor Kaur and Delnaaz Irani to play mother daughter duo on WOW originals web series ‘Pari’

Actress Ashnoor Kaur known as Mini in Sony TV's show Patiala Babes will be seen playing a lead role in web series Pari on WOW originals writen by Vivek Khatri. Ace actors Delnaaz Irani and Jatin Lalwani will be seen playing her parents in the show. Arushi Handa will also be seen playing parallel lead.

Talking about the show, Ashnoor said,"I had an amazing experience working with my coactors. Delnaaz and Jiten sir were really sweet. The warmth was so good and vibe on set was so well. Jiten sir is like powerhouse of the team. My character in the show is very inspiring, much similar to my character in Patiala babes. She is a girl who wants to pursue her goals on her own terms. She won't be preachy but makes people realize what she means by being an example herself. The character also resembles Ashnoor a lot. It is my debut and this is actually performer-oriented character. It also gives out a motivational message to people. This story tells you that you can get into acting in a clean way on basis of your own talent."

Delnaaz is delighted playing Ashnoor's mother. She said,"I have been wanting to do OTT for a very long time and when I got to play this character, it was wonderful. I have been really wanting to play a conventional mother on screen. The character I'm essaying is the mother to the protagonist Pari. It is story of a small town girl coming to Bombay to fulfill her dreams and aspirations. Obviously her parents are anxious and worried about their daughter going to Mumbai. My character is a typical small town and very protective mother. Jiten Lalwani is playing my husband and we have been friends for the longest time. And with Ashnoor right from day one we kind of developed a bond like mother daughter only. We have such a powerful chemistry I think I would love to keep playing her mother over and over again. She is very talented and there was some kind of warm chemistry between us. I hope people receive this channel well as there's very good content coming up on this platform."

Jiten heaps praises for his co-stars saying,"Ashnoor is very talented and we really enjoyed working. Delnaaz who is playing my wife and she is sweetheart. It was great fun working with entire team. My role is of a father who is a banker. He is a nice loving father sharing a beautiful relationship with his daughter."
