Paul Marshal is a seasoned dancer and choreographer. On talking about his journey and dance career Paul says, "After finishing my schooling, I started with back dancing when I was in FYJC and also I used to do drumming for 4 years. Then I gradually started with Marathi shows as a folk dancer and later on did my first stage show as a back dancer - 'Chitrapat Puraskar' (Aurangabad). Then I took part in a reality show as a contestant (Krazzy Kiya Re 2) and since then I have been doing different reality shows on different channels back to back. Not sure about the exact number but somewhere around 25 reality shows and still adding. My first reality show as an assistant choreographer was Dance India dance Little Master season 1 with Dharmesh. First movie song as an independent choreographer was Happy Hour- ABCD2."

He reveals that he always wanted to do something in arts. "My initial dream was to open my own Art Gallery as I love sketching and painting." But while watching movies he got inspired by Prabhdeva and Govinda. And then he started moving towards dancing.

On talking about the challenges faced he shared, "Honestly, everything or every person has a journey to go through and without the journey there is no destination. So I can’t really describe how difficult or easy it was for me but trust me that it has been very beautiful for me. I guess I have always been loved by everyone. My work has really helped me bond well with everyone I have come across."

Discussing choreography in Bollywood which has evolved over the years he added, "Earlier, Bollywood songs were only about the actor and the actress and the composition of the song. But now it’s also about the steps, movements, costumes, back dancer location and choreography. So for choreographers like us the size of the plate has increased and we can serve so much in terms of variety. There is plethora of work out there."
