Enjoyed playing a cop on screen: Darshan Kumar

Actor Darshan Kumar, best known for his powerful performances in NH10, Mary Kom, The Family Man and more, has been lauded for his performance in Aashram, where he’s seen clad in a khaki uniform. He plays a commanding police officer on the show.

The actor says he had a lot of fun playing a cop on screen. He plays SI Ujagar Singh in Aashram. “What sets my role apart is the fact that this cop must rise above the clichéd gunfights and explosions to focus on bringing down a conman posing as the people’s messiah,” says Darshan.

The actor will soon be seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s upcoming film, Toofan, The Family Man season 2 and a T-Series thriller alongside R Madhavan.
