Kartik Aryan, Janhvi Kapoor to be part of ‘Dostana’ sequel

So the big announcement Karan Johar has tweeted about is nothing else but the sequel to Dostana. The film is a new story with a new team of actors and a director.

Reports of Rajkummar Rao playing the lead are already there in the media but now the latest news is that Kartik Aryan and Janhvi Kapoor are the new addition to the cast.

The film will go on floor in the third quarter of the year as all the three actors are busy shooting for other projects.

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi are shooting for Roohafza and Kartik Aryan is busy completing Imtiaz Ali’s film Aaj kal which stars Sara Ali Khan opposite him.

Johar had produced Dostana in 2008 that starred John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. Though the story is definitely going to be about two boys and one girl, sources say that John Abraham may appear in a cameo.
