‘Mafia’ actress Madhurima Roy to play challenging role of a Bar dancer in series ‘Mumbhai’  

Glamorous Actress Madhurima Roy who has played notable roles in Criminal Justice, Little Things 3, Inside Edge 2 , Four More Shots 1 , Code M and was also seen in feature films like Judgemental Hai Kya and Zoya Factor . She was last seen in Zee 5 series Mafia will be seen in Zee 5 and Alt Balaji series ‘Mumbhai’.

Talking about her role she says, "I've had the opportunity of playing many versatile characters in all of my projects so far and this is yet another one. I'm playing a Bar dancer, very crucial to the context of the story. She's forthright, knows what she wants and wouldn't let any stone unturned. Very different from all the roles I've played so far, definitely something very challenging."

Elaborating upon the series she adds," Mumbhai is a crime drama which deep dives into the Mumbai underworld and the narrative revolving round the loyalty and friendship between a cop (Angad Bedi) and an underworld don (Sikander Kher), set in the milieu of Mumbai's underbelly from the late 90s to early 2000. It's been an exciting shoot so far, hope the audiences appreciate the show and enjoy this crime drama. Right from the reading sessions to the onset of the shoot, my rapport was very comfortable with my co actors. Angad and I got along very comfortably and have had a very good rapport."

The series also stars Angad Bedi, Sikander Kher, Sandeepa Dhar and Sunny Hinduja.
