The trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s much anticipated film Super 30 was released on Tuesday. Though the trailer highlights the hidden talent and brilliance of the poor youth of this country, Hrithik disappoints as the protagonist Anand Kumar. The film is based on the true story of the bright young mathematician from Bihar, Anand Kumar who tutors poor students handpicked by him to appear in the entrance examination of the country’s most high profile educational institute- IIT.

The trailer gives a glimpse of the struggles and challenges that Anand Kumar had to face in establishing his coaching institute. But Hrithik Roshan has been utterly unsuccessful in portraying Anand Kumar as he is not able to speak in Bhojpuri accent and his dialogue delivery sounds extremely superficial.

The film is directed by Vikas Bahl, Anurag Kashyap and is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

The making of Super 30 was marred in controversy too as the film’s director was accused of sexual harassment. Then the dates of the film’s release clashed with actress Kangana Ranaut’s Mental Hai kya.

The film is finally scheduled to release on July 26. You can watch the film’s trailer here:
