SIVI- The Bespoke boutique is the brain child of Gujarat based designer Niketa Thacker who was earlier a criminal lawyer but her passion towards fashion designing led her to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

As a child she would visit her village in Kutch, Gujarat and observe the local artisans making beautiful clothes. And this inspired her to become a designer and help these local artisans get the recognition they deserve.

Niketa has been working towards women empowerment and upliftment of the artisans community since the time she has entered the field of fashion. All her fabric and handicraft work is sourced from the local artisans of the Gujarat region and may of them work for her boutique.

Niketa motivates them to be involved in the process of idea generation and gives them a chance to design as per their will also. She has done a great work during lockdown and supported the local artisans through out this period.

The basic idea of Niketa's collection is that she designs contemporary outfits reinventing fashion keeping the essence of Indian traditional style and local fabrics intact.

Her dream is to become an acclaimed designer and promote the work of artisans and their craft at international level.

The Panjo Kutch collection by Niketa Thacker is all that showcases the works of our local artisans and has been specifically designed to help them overcome the losses due to lockdown. She believes in taking the team together and is totally dedicated towards promoting the artisans from all over Gujarat and provide them a means to earn their livelihood and also help them gain global recognition. In this sense, Niketa is a philanthropist and has inculcated the same in her passion for designing which now has a greater purpose.
