After the success of Andhadhun, Ayushmann Khurrana has come up with another film this week Badhaai Ho which promises to be as quirky and comic as Ayushmann Khurrana is known for.

The film’s entire team was in Delhi on Tuesday to promote it and addressed the media.

Ayushmann said that this movie is a fun ride with some rib-tickling comedy about the embarrassment faced by the family when Ayushmann’s mother played by Neena Gupta becomes pregnant. The story is woven around how grown up children react on their mother’s pregnancy.

Neena gupta said she enjoyed working in the film and it was her “best experience” as an actor.

Director Amit Sharma shared with the media that the idea of the film occurred to the writer Akshat Ghildial, when he was writing the script for an Ad film in 2012.

When the film’s team was asked to respond to the #MeToo movement, they said that this is good movement and this is not just limited to Bollywood but it’s the cases of sexual misconduct are there in various fields including media houses too.

It’s about time now for women to speak up about what happened them in the past. It needs a lot of courage for a woman to speak up. But equal opportunity should be given to both the parties in the cases of sexual harassment to present their side of the story, the team added.
