Deepika Padukone is set to play Draupadi, in a retelling of Mahabharata from the point of view of Draupadi. According to The Hindu, she will do so along with producer Madhu Mantena and will be producing the film too. It is said to be a multi-part series, the first part of which is under pre-production now.
