There are alarming reports of the eagerly-awaited sequel to last year’s Kannada-Hindi  blockbuster KGF  being halted by a court order.

A report on a website says, “In a sudden move, the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Kolar Gold Fields passed an interim order to stop the film's shooting that was progressing at Cyanide Hills. Srinivasa, a local resident is said to have filed a petition stating that the team of KGF is causing environmental damage in the process of shooting for the film.”

However when I contacted the film’s leading man superstar Yash, he sounded unfazed and not at all uncertain about the film’s future.

Says Yash,“There is absolutely nothing to worry about. There is a problem, apparently environmental, with the particular location where our film was being shot. Somebody has got a stay order. That’s okay. These snags are a part and parcel of any big project. We will get it cleared the soonest through the proper legal route.”

Yash further informs that he was not a part of the disrupted shooting. “I didn’t feature in the shooting when it was stopped. There was just two days of shooting left when the stay order happened. Otherwise we had almost completed the shooting.”

While the film’s legal team is solving the issue, Yash is at home spending time with his  adorable daughter and wife who is expecting their second child.

“I am happy being home with my family. Work is of course worship. But I also need time to spend with my daughter who is growing up fast and will soon have a life of her own.”
