Though the first song of SRK’s much-awaited film ‘Zero’ sounds melodious, it clearly reminds of composer Ajay-Atul’s previous composition in ‘Dhadak’

The first song of Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film Zero is out and is making waves on Indian social media, so much so that the song has been trending on top on Twitter for almost a day.

Though the song is melodious and is being lauded by fans and critics alike, the composition of the song seems repetitive and at once reminds of the title track of Dhadak.

The picturisation of the song is beautiful and reflects the signature style of SRK as the iconic romantic hero of Hindi films. The song has been sung by Abhay Jodhapurkar and the lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The video of the song conveys the grand scale of the film and the larger-than-life image of SRK.

Zero has been directed by Anand L Rai and Shah Rukh is playing the character of a dwarf. Now, the combination of a super star playing the role of a dwarf sounds curious. It is yet to be seen whether SRK succeeds in winning at the box office even in this unusual role.

The film is scheduled to be released on December 21. You can watch this colourful romantic song here:
