Indian corporate and scientific geniuses endeavor to find indigenous solutions

Mylabs Discovery Solutions created an indigenous solution to test patients for COVID-19

The kit was able to shorten the test time to 2.5 hours with the PathoDetect as against the prevalent 6-8 hours

This kit does both the screening and confirmation jobs simultaneously.

India is still dependent on China for PPE, masks, eye gear and ventilators and soon the orders will be placed


However, the list of procurement will not include testing kits that have been found faulty by some nations

The indigenous kits will bring relief to the crisis

IIT Hyderabad incubated startup Aerobiosys Innovations has developed a low-cost, portable, emergency-use ventilator called ‘Jeevan Lite,’

This center aims at producing 60 to 70 units of these ventilators each day

DRDO is ready with technologies for sanitizing areas of different sizes.
