Thousands of riot stricken families turned homeless and now left to struggle for life.

The government's assurances of rehabilitation seem fake and unreal.

The claims of relief camps for the riot victims are false on the ground.

The relief camps are sans water, food, and toilets. The relief exists only on paper.

Eight days after the violence, the first relief camp was set up at the Mustafabad Eidgah.

This relief camp has neither been set up nor monitored by the Delhi government.

Delhi government is shamelessly attempting to take credit for the camp.

The camp is set up on the land owned by the Delhi Waqf Board.

The food is being prepared by local volunteers and civil society groups.

Shiromani Akali Dal has sent a few trucks full of ration to the relief camp.

There are more than 1,000 persons, 80 children, the numbers are growing.

There are more than 10,000 people who have been displaced.

But the government has not set up well equipped camps for relief.

Atleast 10 camps are required for rehabilitation.

No other relief camps have been organised.

There are hardly 8 toilets for more than 1,000 people at the camp.

There's food, water, and sanitation crisis in the relief camp, said a volunteer.

There was no government agency or representative co-ordinating the relief.

In several cases, families have no clue that they have to register for relief.

There are no helo desks to help people obtain copies of destroyed documents.

There are no doctors, child psychologists or gynecologists at the camp.

Clean clothes were also not being provided by the Delhi government.

The government shows no sensitivity and concern for the riot victims.
