The women from five main routes of the country are coming together for peace and harmony. The journey ‘Baatein Aman Ki’, which was undertaken to spread the message of love against the environment of hatred, is now at its last juncture. Women from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kerala to Rajasthan to Jorhat-from all the corners of the country have been travelling to different places with just one message—that the people who attack the Constitution, who incite anger in the name of castes are anti women.

Shabnam Hashmi of Anhad, the main organiser of Baatein Aman Ki talked to National Herald about their journey. Shabnam said the entire country is engulfed in a strange restlessness. This journey going on in the five routes of this country will reach Delhi on October 13. Each bus is filled with women from across the country-there are women from Kashmir in every bus. These women are creating a new narrative, they are directly challenging the politics of hatred of the BJP the Sangh Parivaar. They believe that the pain and troubles of the common Indian will be reflected in the Lok Sabha elections of 2019.
