BJP’s internal fights are in the open after supporters of Six term BJP MLA Prakash Mehta vandalises the car of BJP candidate Parag Shah from Ghatkopar East. The outrage was a result of the decision of the BJP to drop Prakash Mehta’s name from the fourth list of candidates.


As Parag Shah was on his way to call on Prakash Mehta, Mehta’s supporters reportedly stopped his car in Ghatkopar.

The supporters attacked Shah’s car, breaking the rear windshield. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya was in the car with Shah at the time. To control the situation, Prakash Mehta had to step in and try to pacify the agitated supporters.

A video clip is getting viral in which Prakash Mehta can be seen appealing to his supported to calm down. He is also heard urging the angry followers not to take law into their hands.


Supporters of Mehta gathered in the area and requested Mehta to file his nomination as an independent candidate from Ghatkopar East.
