As Delhi was burning in the flames of violence, the two top ministers- the prime minister and the home minister of the country maintained a stoic silence. But it was the ruling party’s information technology head, who took the lead in spewing hatred even during the violence.

Amit Malviya the head of BJP IT cell called it the “violent Islamic onslaught” and slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for protecting his ‘Muslim’ supporters. In a series of tweets, Amit Malviya continued his tirade against Arvind Kejriwal and AAP MLAs. “What Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his 62 MLAs were doing when riots were taking at different places in east Delhi? Why didn’t they stop their Muslim supporters? Why announcements were not made from mosques to stop the riots…?” one of Amit Malviya’s tweets read.

“While Delhi Chief Minister is busy tweeting and thinks his job is done, where are the AAP MLAs when Delhi is in the grip of violent Islamic onslaught?” said one of the many tweets put out by Malviya.

During the time when leaders of all other parties and social activists were vehemently appealing to people to maintain peace, law and order, Amit Malviya continued spewing hate and blaming the Delhi government while it is a known fact that the Delhi Police is controlled by the Home Ministry.

Now, Prime Minister Modi has also tweeted appealing for peace and harmony in Delhi.
