The Nationalist Congress Party's (NCP) core committee meeting is underway at party chief Sharad Pawar's residence in Pune. The core committee is likely to thrash out details of sharing of portfolios etc in the NCP-Congress-Shiv Sena coalition government in Maharashtra.

He added that the three petitioners wanted to turn down the offer of the five-acre alternative plot to build a mosque. But whether the petitioners are in a position to decide on this is itself a question.
