Congress leader and eminent lawyer Abhishek Singhvi called out Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel and Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan for their communal statements.

In a tweet loaded with relevance Ms Singhvi said , लोगों में ज़हर का स्तर बढ़ गया है। कायदे से तो इसका भी टेस्ट होना चाहिए। #Ajazkhan #RangoliChandel

The seasoned parliamentarian rightly comments that rabid communalists from both the Hindu and Muslim communities are equally poisonous. There are radical elements on both sides of the firing line.

A prominent artiste from Bollywood and a parliamentarian on condition of anonymity says, “Kangana’s sister Rangoli thought she could get away with her hateful communal vitriolic because her sister is a supporter of PM Modi. But the Prime Minister has rightly distanced himself from communal elements among his supporters.”

For those who came in late, Rangoli Chandel’s Twitter account was suspended after she tweeted that “mullas + secular media stand in a line and shoot them dead”. Ajaz Khan has been making hate speeches for some time now. He has been arrested.

With elements from the film industry coming forward with an unmistakably communal stand this is the first time that such a polarization has been seen to exist so openly in the industry.
