Karnataka Congress on Tuesday, March 12 tweeted a 10-second video clip purporting to show BJP President Amit Shah caught on video saying the past Yeddyurappa Government was the most corrupt ever. Karnataka Congress tweeted the video clip with the comment: “The Truth can never be Suppressed. Even Amit Shah agrees that Yeddyurappa led the Most Corrupt Government ever.”

The BJP President is currently on tour in the poll-bound state. Speaking earlier on Tuesday, Shah said that BJP would not ally with any party for the Karnataka assembly elections and would contest Karnataka elections on its own under the leadership of BS Yeddyurappa.

Karnataka votes on May 12; results will be announced on May 15.
