Delhi Police SI dies due to COVID-19
A 59-year-old sub-inspector of Delhi Police died on Tuesday due to coronavirus, officials said.
Earlier, one constables and two assistant sub-inspectors of Delhi police had died due to COVID-19.
Another constable, who had underlying health conditions and had been on leave since November last year, also died last week. Police said his test for COVID-19 also came positive.
The sub-inspector who died on Tuesday has been identified as Karambeer. He was posted in northeast district, they said.

Iran re-emerges as hardest-hit Mideast country by COVID-19

Iran reported a total of 173,832 coronavirus cases on Monday after an overnight registration of 2,043 new ones, Xinhua news agency reported.
