COVID patients hit as Bihar hospital waterlogged

As several districts in Bihar witnessed constant rainfall due to cyclone Yaas, Darbhanga Medical College in Darbhanga was partially flooded affecting patients and people coming in for vaccination

As several districts in Bihar witnessed constant and heavy rainfall, due to the impact of Cyclone Yaas, Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in Darbhanga was partially flooded affecting patients and people coming in for vaccination

Water has also entered in COVID ward of Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

In a video shared by news agency ANI, DMCH can be seen partially submerged in flood water.

Many other hospitals faced the issue of waterlogging in Bihar affecting the patients and even emergency services.

Hajipur sadar hospital got submerged in knee-deep water, making even emergency services impossible, a report in Times of India stated.

According to the locals waterlogging is a routine affair during monsoon.
