Delhi minister Kailash Gehlot’s assets stand at ₹46.07 crores: ADR report

Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has released a report analysing the criminal background, financial, education and other details of the seven ministers who took over charge following the Aam Aadmi Party’s win in the recently-concluded Delhi polls.

In a comparative analysis of the data for 2015 and 2010, the report says that the ministers’ average assets this time were ₹8.96 crores, compared to ₹2.69 crores in 2015. It further lists out the number of ministers with declared serious criminal cases in 2020 at 3, against a figure of 0 in 2015.

The minister with the highest assets, as per the report is Kailash Gahlot from Najafgarh constituency, with assets worth ₹46.07 crores. The minister with the lowest declared assets is Gopal Rai from Babarpur constituency, with assets worth ₹90.01 lakhs.
