Former Nagaland Guv and ex-CBI chief Ashwani Kumar found dead at residence

Former CBI director and former Governor of Nagaland Ashwani Kumar has allegedly died by suicide, news agency ANI reported. He was found hanging at his residence in Shimla, the SP, Shimla, Mohit Chawla said.

The Superintendent of Police described the death as shocking.

Ashwani Kumar was Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh from 2006 to 2008.. In 2008 he was appointed director CBI.
