Four people belonging to right-wing organisation held for waving saffron flags inside Taj Mahal complex

They entered the monument carrying the saffron flags and waved them after entering the complex. They shot a video of the incident and uploaded it on social media

The CISF personnel deployed at the Taj Mahal complex apprehended four people belonging to a right-wing organisation after they waved saffron flags inside the complex on Monday.

According to a report carried by India Today, the four men entered the monument carrying the saffron flags and waved them after entering the complex. They shot a video of the incident and uploaded it on social media.


The persons who were later handed over to the police were identified as Gaurav Thakur, Sonu Baghel, Vishesh Kumar and Rishi Lavania.

Tajganj police station Inspector Umesh Chandra Tripathi was quoted as saying that a case has been registered against the four.

The CISF personnel deployed at the historic place apprehended the four men after which they were handed over to police.
