As an outcome of 12th round of military talks, India and China have agreed on disengagement in area of Gogra in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army said.
According to the Army, Indian and Chinese sides have ceased forward deployments in Gogra in phased, coordinated and verified manner.
All temporary structures, other infrastructure created by both sides have been dismantled and mutually verified, the Army further added regarding disengagement in eastern Ladakh's Gogra.
Landform in Gogra has been restored by both sides to pre-standoff period.
The agreement between both the sides ensures that Line of Actual Control in this area will be strictly observed and respected by both sides.
Both India, China have expressed commitment to take talks forward and resolve remaining issues along LAC in eastern Ladakh, the Indian Army said.
Indian Army along with ITBP is committed to ensure sovereignty of the nation and maintain peace along LAC in eastern Ladakh, the Army further added.
