Lawyer Deepika Singh Rajawat from Jammu is angry at the toxic hate and threats she has faced after she took up the case of the eight year old raped and killed in Kathua. It was her petition to the high court that led to an investigation by the SIT and arrest of eight accused.

Talib Hussain, also an advocate, who has been pursuing the Kathua rape and murder case since January had initially demanded a CBI inquiry. But nobody supported him then. As angry as Deepika Rajawat, he points out that BJP, which wants all the laws of India to be enforced in J&K, opposes the Forest Rights Act.
