CPI(M) holds Union Home Minister Amit Shah responsible for Delhi violence

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India issued a statement holding Union Home Minister Amit Shah Responsible for Loss of 20 lives in Delhi violence.

The National Secretariat of the Communist Party of India expresses its deep concern and anguish over the continuing violence by pro-CAA supporters, who are none other than goons of RSS-BJP.

The death toll has already touched 20 and many more are still in the hospital seriously injured.

The Party strongly condemns the BJP for its intolerant attitude and its communal, divisive move targeting at one particular minority community. The police has all through been remaining silent spectators while the RSS-BJP goons went on killing, arson and threat spree. The Party holds none other than the Union Home Minister Amit Shah solely responsible for unprecedented violence in the National Capital and the complacency on the part of Delhi police. The situation demands that the Supreme Court must suo motu act, order a thorough probe and consider deployment of Army.
