PTI reported that the Supreme Court has refused to direct CBSE and CISCE to provide the option of hybrid mode for students to appear in the board examinations for classes 10 and 12. The top court stated that since the CBSE board examination has already commenced, it's not appropriate to disturb the process. However, CBSE has assured the SC that all precautions have been taken for conducting board exams in offline mode, and the number of centres has been increased to 15,000.
