Amit Shah gives nod to panel to look into AFSPA withdrawal from Nagaland
Centre will institute a five-member committee to look into withdrawal of AFSPA from Nagaland. The committee will be headed by MHA Addl Secy (NE). It will comprise Nagaland chief secretary and DG Police, Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said.
Militants hurl grenade at police team in Pulwama, 2 injured
IANS reported, two policemen were injured on Sunday in a grenade attack in Jammu & Kashmir's Pulwama district, police officials said.
Police sources said terrorists hurled a grenade at a police party in Pulwama main Chowk.
"The grenade exploded resulting in splinter injuries to two policemen. They have been shifted to hospital and the area has been cordoned off," sources added.
