Delhi Police conducts raids to nab killer seen in CCTV footage
The Delhi Police was carrying out multiple raids on Wednesday to arrest the prime accused in the murder of a man, Vikas Mehta, after the CCTV footage of the crime went viral.
In the CCTV footage the attacker is seen firing multiple shots at Mehta and later clicking a picture on his mobile when he falls to the ground.
According to the police, Mehta, a gangster, was a member of the Pradeep Solanki gang involved in extortion, murders, kidnappings, etc. The police said that Mehta was gunned down by a person identified as Kamal Gahlot on October 22 allegedly on his father Pawan Gahlot's instruction to avenge his uncle's murder. As per the police, Pawan Gahlot had informed his son about Mehta's presence in Uttam Nagar.

Two militants killed in Badgam in encounter in Budgam district, J&K with security forces: Police
Two unidentified militants were killed by security forces in an encounter that broke out on Tuesday night in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Security forces launched a cordon-and-search operation at Moachwah in Chadoora area of Budgam district around 7 pm on Tuesday following information about the presence of militants there, a police official said.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter around 9 pm after militants opened fire at security forces positions.
Two militants were killed in the gunbattle, which lasted nearly four hours.
The identity and group affiliation of the slain militants was being ascertained, the official said, adding preliminary investigation suggests that one of the slain ultras was a foreigner.
