New Zealand reports 6 new imported COVID-19 cases
New Zealand on Thursday reported six new imported coronavirus cases, including four people who arrived from India on October 24, according to the Ministry of Health.
All six cases were identified during routine testing around day 3 of their stay in managed isolation, Xinhua news agency quoted the Ministry as saying.
The fifth case involved a person who arrived from the Netherlands via Singapore on October 23.

Two more die of coronavirus in Pondy, toll touches 592
Two more people succumbed to COVID-19 in Puducherry on Thursday, pushing the toll to 592 while the aggregate rose to 34,761 with 181 additions.
Addressing a virtual press conference, Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao said 181 new cases were identified at the end of examination of 4,001 samples today.
Rao said 142 patients were discharged after recovery during the last 24 hours ending 10 am on Thursday.
Commission for Air Quality in NCR notified
The government has issued a notification to set up a Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining areas Ordinance 2020.
The notification by the Ministry of Law and Justice said an ordinance will provide for the constitution of a commission for better coordination, research, identification and resolution of problems surrounding the air quality index.
The quality of air in NCR and adjoining areas remains a cause of concern and it has become necessary to evolve and implement a consolidated approach for monitoring, tackling and eliminating the causes of air pollution and identifying, specifying and rigorously enforcing measures for elimination and mitigation of air pollution including but not limited to controlling or eliminating the activities of stubble burning, vehicular pollution, road dust and urban construction.
