4 LeT militants, 3 associates arrested in Kashmir
Four Lashkar e Taiba militants and three of their associates were arrested on Friday in Handwara area of J&K's Kupwara district, police said.
Following specific information police carried out nocturnal raids at three places. "The operation led to the arrest of four LeT militants from whose possession three AK-47 rifles, eight AK magazines, 332 AK rounds, 12 hand grenades, three pistols and letter pads of LeT outfit were recovered.
"Interrogation of the arrested militants led to further raids jointly carried out by the SOG of J&K police and the army. Three associates of the arrested militants were nabbed during these raids," police said.
Delhi Police Crime branch issues notices to people in connection with Delhi violence
Delhi Police Crime branch has identified and issued notices to people to join investigation in connection with Northeast Delhi violence case of February 2020 in which more than 50 people were killed. Notices are being issued since March 31.
Suspended J-K police officer Davinder Singh sent to further custody till April 10
Suspended J-K police officer Davinder Singh, was arrested while ferrying 2 terrorists in vehicle on Srinagar-Jammu Highway, was sent to further custodial interrogation by a Delhi court till April 10.
Special Judge Munish Markan extended Singh's custody after the Delhi Police said that he was required to be further confronted with three other accused persons -- Javed Iqbal, Syed Naveed Mushtaq and Imran Shafi Mir -- arrested in the case to unearth their respective roles.
The court also extended the custody of Iqbal, Mushtaq and Mir till April 10 on a plea by the police.
The Delhi Police said that the accused were required to be interrogated further to identify the other persons involved.
CNG, piped cooking gas price in Delhi, adjoining cities cut
The price of CNG used in automobiles and cooking gas piped to household kitchens was on Friday cut by 7 per cent in step with a reduction in input natural gas prices.
Indraprastha Gas Ltd, the retailer of CNG and piped natural gas in the national capital and adjoining areas, said CNG price in Delhi will be cut by Rs 3.20 to Rs 42 per kg.
In adjoining Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, the reduction would be Rs 3.60 to Rs 47.75 per kg.
IGL, in a statement, also announced cut in its domestic piped natural gas prices by Rs 1.55 per standard cubic meters to Rs 28.55 per scm in Delhi.

Six security men were injured on Friday in an unprovoked firing by the Pakistan Army on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, police sources said.
Woman arrested in UP for killing husband
The wife of an industrial worker has been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband at Khanda village in Uttar Pradesh, 30 km from Agra, police said.
Villagers told the police that the deceased -- Vikram, 26, was married to Rani, had returned to the village from Noida, five days ago.
The body was sent for post mortem on Thursday afternoon.
The arrested woman has confessed her crime, it was learnt.
Vikram's father Surendra Singh alleged that, Rani, with the help from her lover Pratap had killed his son.
The couple had a two year old son.
