The first incident is of Bulandshahr, where on Monday morning, a minor girl, who was returning home on a bike with her brother, was abducted by a car driver, after which a mob attacked the accused's house. There is a lot of tension in the area because of involvement of two communities. On that day only, Thakurs pelted stones at a Dalit groom in Kotwali in another police station of the district. Because of that, a dozen of baratis got injured including children. This incident happened in Baroda village. After the Baratis reached Shiv Mandir, Thakurs started pelting stones on them. The Dalit side said that they were chased and beaten up. The groom entered the temple and saved his life. SDM told that Thakurs had objections to the song being played by the DJ, after which the DJ has been banned in the village.

The Dalit side could not gather courage to register a complaint in the district

On this evening only, a sensational incident took place in Khatauli. There was a shocking revelation in killing of Ashfaq, which came to the light later. Ashfaq was the main witness in the murder of his two brothers, who had been murdered during the Muzaffarnagar riots. According to the Khatuali police, the incident is connected to the incident of Muzaffarnagar riots and the police is investigating from the same angle. This incident took place at most busiest area Ghantaghar of Khatauli police station.
