A Pakistani unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was on Tuesday shot down near the International Border in Kutch district of Gujarat, police sources said.

IAF one and a half minute operation hits Jaish camp, jets return without any damage say sources

A non-military, pre-emptive strike by Indian Air force destroyed a major terror camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed and approximately 300 terrorists were killed in this strike around 3.30 am on Tuesday morning.

Sources say, Twelve Indian Air Force Mirage, 2000 fighter jets crossed the Line of Control around and dropped 1,000 kg laser-guided bombs on the targets. The entire operation took just 90 seconds.

The target that was hit was the biggest Jaish training camp in Pakistan and was led by Yousuf Azhar, the brother-in-law of Masood Azhar.

According to the government there were credible inputs by the intelligence sources that Jaish-e-Mohammed was planning more suicide attacks and training its fidayeen terrorists in this camp.

After 1971, this was the first time that IAF crossed the Line of Control.

Pakistan will raise the issue of India's "violation" of the Line of Control (LoC) at the United Nations and other international forums, a media said on Tuesday, quoting sources.

The decision was taken at a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan and attended by the top civil and military leadership, including Army chief General Qamar Jawed Bajwa, Geo TV reported.
