Landslides along the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Tuesday blocked the major traffic artery of the state. The landslide was triggered by rain in Ramsoo sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Debris removal operation has started, said a Traffic Department official.
"Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage," Major General Asif Ghafoor, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the army, said in a tweet.

A non-military, pre-emptive strike by Indian Air force destroyed a major terror camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed and approximately 300 terrorists were killed in this strike around 3.30 am on Tuesday morning.

Pakistan will raise the issue of India's "violation" of the Line of Control (LoC) at the United Nations and other international forums, a media said on Tuesday, quoting sources.
