National Film Award was announced on Friday. Andhadhun bagged the best hindi film award. The film stars Tabu, Radhika Apte and Ayushman Khurana in the lead roles. The film is directed by Sriram Raghavan

Ayushmann Khuranna ("Andhadhun") and Vicky Kaushal ("Uri: The Surgical Strike") share National Award for best actor.

Uttarakhand recognised as the most film friendly state. Best Urdu film' award went to ‘Hamid’ directed by Aijaz Khan. Best Non-Feature film award is shared by Son-Rise and The Secret Life of Frogs.

The director or ‘Uri’ Aditya Dhar gets the award for the best Director


Best Supporting Actress Award goes to Surekha Sikri for for the movie 'Badhaai Ho'.

Baaram by Priya Krishnasamy receives the ‘Best Tamil Film’ award. Best Choreography Award goes to the movie Padmaavat for the song Ghoomar.

Award for Best Playback Singer(Male) goes to Arijit Singh.
